Westfields travelled down to Devon on Saturday to play Brixham FC and recorded a 3-1 victory when they came from behind in the second half to score three times and secure an impressive win.

Westfields took a big squad to the Seasiders and trailed 1-0 at the break through a penalty but after the break Manager Phil Glover made a number of substitutions and early in the half new signing Jack Gittoes from Kington Town scored twice in the space of 10 minutes to hit the home side and put Westfields in front.

Westfields then secured the win safely when Sam Griffiths scored the third goal to give Westfields a second-half impressive performance in which Dan Stoneman looked really impressive.

Westfields now play a Hereford FC XI on Thursday at allpay.park, kick-off 7.30pm, in the last of their pre-season friendlies before they travel to Malvern Town for the first of their Hellenic League Premier Division games on Tuesday 2nd August before they return to allpay.park on Saturday 6th August to play Rugby Town in the Extra Preliminary Round of the FA Cup, kick-off 3pm. That match has been sponsored by Truland Construction of Holmer, Hereford.
