BOURTON ROVERS RESERVES 0 LETCOMBE 6

Good Friday day belonged to Josh Fowler, who scored his 100th goal for Letcombe since joining the club four years ago, as well as scoring a first half hat trick and creating two other goals.

Letcombe took the lead in the 6th minute, Kieran Strange rising at the back post to head home from a Fowler corner. Fowler scored midway through the half to take his club total to 99, and when he was fouled just before half time, Fowler scored from the resulting penalty to reach his club century even though usual penalty taker Jordan Davies was on the field. There was still time for Fowler to complete his hat trick before the interval with a 30 yard screamer.

Bourton were awarded a penalty early in the second half when Letcombe keeper Harry Whitehead was adjudged to have fouled an opponent in going for the ball, but he made amends by saving the resulting spot kick from Kyle Wotton. Letcombe increased their lead when Jordan Davies side footed a corner from Fowler into the net from close range. Substitute Kieran Kerby scored number six mid way through the half to conclude an emphatic victory for the visitors.

Letcombe now have two semi finals to look forward to, against Saxton Rovers at Faringdon Town on Wednesday 12th in the Faringdon Memorial Cup and at home to Woodcote on Saturday 15th in the Chairmans Cup.
