Best wishes for the Festive Season, a Happy New Year and a great 2023
At this time of year we must draw breath and thank everyone involved in our League. Not only those players on the pitch, but also all of those that make it all happen. These are all club officials including secretaries, chairpersons, welfare officers, treasurers, and team management plus many more. Then there are league officials, referees, coaches, ground staff, parents and spectators . Without all of these we simply would not be where we are today. We wish everyone the compliments of the season as we thank you all.
End of Season Dates for your Diary – Do you want to host a Cup Final?
Please see the below dates which need to be passed to those concerned within your club.
The Wiseman Lighting Floodlit Cup Final is due to be played in March on a date and ground to be arranged.
We are looking for clubs to volunteer to host the Bateman Sports & the Bluefin Sport Cup Finals on April 29th & May 1st respectively. We would like to agree on the Venues by the end of January. If your club is interested, please contact Norman Stacey via ardleyfc@gmail.com by January 7th.

** We are not in control of this game and have to hope that it will not interfere with our May 1st Finals Day.
It is felt that the Step 4 club, probably with Contract players, is unlikely to want to increase the Contract period.
FA Player Status – See Attached – For Attention of Club Secretaries.
Occasionally when registering a player there is a need (International clearance etc…..) to contact The FA. Attached is the Festive season availability of this area of The FA. If you are making contact via the email specified, please ensure that you include Brian King on bamking1946@gmail.com in order to keep the League informed.
When registering players the normal way is via the club page on Whole Game and the player is then moved by The FA systems into Full Time. Once the player shows on Full Time he is available for selection, subject to any disciplinary issues. Sometimes this process does not go as smoothly as The FA have set it up. This is usually the point to involve your County FA. Hopefully all County FA’s have informed their clubs of availability. Please note that The League has no access to club pages on Whole Game, and cannot assist with Registrations not appearing in Full Time. Again if you are sending emails please include a copy to Brian King bamking1946@gmail.com so that we can see what is happening.
