It’s hard to look past Corsham Town’s penalty shootout Isuzu FA Vase Quarter Final win as performance of the day. They were 3-2 victors at Peacehaven & Telscombe.
To demonstrate just how close the quarter finals of the Vase were, all four went to a penalty shoot-out. Corsham Town will now face former Hellenic League club Ascot United in the semi-final with a chance of a trip to Wembley Stadium on the line.
In the league Malvern Town took advantage of Cribbs’ only drawing with Chipping Sodbury Town on Friday evening by winning 2-0 at Brimscombe & Thrupp. Malvern Town are now on top of the uhlsport Hellenic Premier League.
