Easter Saturday: Groundhop Day Two

Another day, another groundhop extravaganza. Saturday began at Mortimer where the hosts defeated Chinnor by two goals to nil. Onto Taplow United where they were held to a 2-2 draw at Chalfont Wasps. The day ended in Oxfordshire where Woodcote were 4-0 victors over FC Beaconsfield.

If Cribbs 10-0 victory on Easter Friday wasn’t enough, Hartpury University put nine past Kidlington Reserves as their quest for uhlsport Hellenic League Division One promotion continued. Pershore Town are still on top of the division with a resounding 5-0 win at Bourton Rovers. The Plums are six points clear of Hartpury University in second place.

In our cup competitions a 4-4 draw at Malvern Town Development ended in a penalty shoot-out. Shrivenham Development were the victors and head into the Bateman Sports Presidents Cup final later this month.
