Groundsmen on the grass pitches of the uhslport Hellenic League were left tearing their hair out on Saturday as many games were affected. Despite the awful weather Royal Wootton Bassett FC groundsmen were able to get their match vs Corsham Town on. Sadly for the home side they were beaten by two goals to one.
In our Bateman Sports Chairmans Challenge Cup there was a win for Didcot Town Dev of our Div Two Central division over Division Two West Bishops Cleeve Dev.
Also huge credit has to go to the groundspeople at Headington Amateurs as their match was also on. They scored six against Highworth Town Reserves in a 6-2 victory.
