Worcester City were the big winners on the last uhlsport Hellenic League matchday before Christmas. They were 2-1 victors over Corsham Town at Claines Lane and are now three points clear at the top with three games in hand.
It wasn’t the only game that ended 2-1 with Cinderford Town, Mangotsfield United. Roman Glass St George, Lydney Town and Pershore Town all winning by the same scoreline.
At the bottom end of the Premier division, a Tuffley Rovers victory at Wantage Town moved them three points clear of the relegation zone. Wantage remain bottom with seven points from their twenty two games.
