Over the past weeks there has been realisation that we have not been able to cover all Referee & Assistant Referee assignments on every Saturday, especially within Division TWO and in some cases Assistant Referee’s in Division ONE.
This has worsened from last season which is strange as we have more numbers registered this season on LIST TWO.
To attempt to alleviate this problem the UHL Executive issued a document to all member clubs in the UHL from Premier through to Veterans football. We put a case forward that certain increases were needed in match fees to properly balance UHL fees against other competitions that Referee’s choose to officiate upon. The result was a very high majority in favour.
Whilst this does not extend to all levels of fees, increases have been accepted and agreed by member clubs where they are vitally needed and we believe this will hopefully extend a greater coverage of matches throughout. Shown below is a document detailing the upgraded Match Officials Fees which replace the present fees from matches played from FRIDAY 13th OCTOBER, not as shown below Saturday 14th.
