Shortwood United have announced the manager that will take them into the 23/24 season.

Shortwood United are delighted to announce the appointment of Dan Gillespie to the post of 1st team Manager. Dan will be joined by Assistant Matt Tunley and goal keeping coach Andrew Moody.
Dan was manager of Tytherington Rocks in 2016 – 17 and Tuffley Rovers Development manager for 2018- 19 before moving on to manage Gala Wilton and was First team Coach at Yate. Last season he was first team manager at fellow Hellenic outfit Newent Town.
Dan has his UEFA B License Youth and Senior badges as well as the FAW C Certifcate Youth and Senior.
Dan brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and the club is excited to work with him and hope he enjoys his time with the club….
