The inevitable has finally happened and Newbury are now uhlsport Hellenic League Division Two East champions.
It’s been a wonderful season for the west Berkshire club who have won every single league fixture they have played.
They’ve been potent in attack winning 10-0 over the groundhop weekend and netting 75 goals in their 17 games so far.
In defence they have only conceded nine goals from their seventeen fixtures, a remarkable feat at this level of football.
Newbury still have three fixtures to play, two games against FC Beaconsfield and a home fixture against Woodcote.
