Corsham Town’s FA Vase adventure ended this afternoon as they were defeated 5-4 on penalties by Ascot United in the semi-final. Corsham Town had to go to a great deal of effort to organise the sell-out fixture with terrible weather certainly not helping. The Wiltshire club can be incredibly proud of their efforts in reaching this stage of the competition. They will now look towards improving their already impressive fourth position in the uhlsport Hellenic League Premier division.

At the top of the table Malvern Town continued their chase of Cribbs with a 3-1 victory at home to Tuffley Rovers. There was a surprise at Worcester as the Raiders lost by four goals to nil to Hereford Pegasus.
In uhlsport Hellenic League Division One the story of the day came at Moreton where Cirencester Development won by two goals to nil, their first league victory of a very tough season.
In Division Two North, Headington Amateurs were resounding 4-1 victors over Winslow United Dev in the top of the table clash. Winslow still have a chance of the title should they pick up enough points in their remaining two fixtures.
In uhlsport Hellenic League Division Two East, Newbury continued their 100% record in the division with a 5-2 victory over west Berkshire rivals Mortimer.
