Birthday boy, Joe Bullock, has one wish as he blows out his candles today and that is for Malvern Town to create history by making progress in the Buildbase FA Vase on Saturday as they head to Congleton Town.

Once more we face opponents from a level above as we eye a place in the fifth round for the first-ever time.

“These are the games that we want to be involved in,” admitted the midfield man. “We’ve had some challenging ties in this competition already, but we’ve showed that we’re more than capable of putting up a fight and competing against teams from higher levels. We can’t wait for Saturday’s game to come around.”

” The buzz that we all felt when we beat Sporting Khalsa in the previous round was amazing and we all want to experience that again, particularly after the tough start to the year that we’ve all had. The hope is that we can continue where we left off before lockdown. We’ve done well in our two friendly games over the past week and training has gone well, so now we have to take it into the game.

Due to the funeral of HRH Prince Philip, the game will have a 5.00pm kick-off. Please note that it will be played behind-closed-doors, but, as always, we will have full coverage via our social media channels.
