The Uhlsport Hellenic League is proud to recognise William Beach for an extraordinary milestone—50 years of dedicated service to football.
William’s journey in the game is a testament to his unwavering passion and commitment. From his days as a player to his invaluable contributions off the pitch, and currently as Chair of the league. William has left an indelible mark on the footballing community.
His early contributions included serving as Club Secretary at Fairford Town FC, where his leadership and organisational skills helped lay the foundations for the club’s growth and success.
William’s remarkable service extended further when he joined the uhlsport Hellenic League, taking on key roles as an Admin Officer and Secretary, where he demonstrated exceptional dedication to the league’s operations. Today, he continues to lead with distinction as Chair of the League, guiding its future while honoring its proud traditions.
Fellow league officer Craig Davenport said: “Congratulations Bill, an awarded well deserved, it’s a huge honour to work with you, learn from you and above all be able to call you for advice anytime. You truly have given a huge part of your life to the sport. Thank you.”
