As of late August 2024, the Hellenic League Premier Division is shaping up to be a highly competitive season with several teams jostling for the top positions.
Current Standings:
- Roman Glass St George leads the table with 13 points from 5 games, remaining unbeaten with four wins and a draw. They boast an impressive goal difference of +11, making them the early front-runners.
- Hereford Pegasus shares the top spot on points with 13 as well but trails in goal difference. Their strong start includes four wins and one loss from six matches.
- Corsham Town sits in third place, just one point behind the leaders with 12 points from four games. They are the only team with a 100% win record so far.
- Sporting Club Inkberrow and Highworth Town are also off to strong starts, with 11 and 10 points respectively, ensuring they remain in close contention.
Mid-Table:
- Mangotsfield United and Fairford Town are solidly positioned in the middle, each accumulating 8 points from their early fixtures.
- Hartpury University and Worcester Raiders have also shown promise with 7 points apiece, with Worcester Raiders having played one game less than most teams around them.
Lower Teams:
- At the bottom end, Cirencester Town has had a tough start, losing all five of their matches and sitting at the bottom with zero points.
- Lydney Town and Pershore Town have also struggled, each securing only two points from their opening matches.
With the season still in its early stages, there’s plenty of time for teams to climb the table or solidify their positions. However, the current leaders will be looking to maintain their momentum as the competition heats up.
